Sharen Lee Geant, 75, was cited after officers reported her Subaru was struck while turning left from NW Valley View Drive onto NW Stewart Parkway

Details: Geant attempted to turn left from the stop sign onto NW Stewart Parkway from NW Valley View Drive and was struck by Douglas’ vehicle, which was traveling south on NW Stewart Parkway. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed.

Thomas Steven Tully, 24, was cited after officers reported his semi-truck trailer struck a U-Trans bus at NE Garden Valley Boulevard and NE Airport Road, leaving several passengers with minor injuries

Details: Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection and determined Tully attempted to make a right turn with his semi-truck onto NE Garden Valley Boulevard from NE Airport Road. The trailer could not make the turn and collided with a U-Trans bus stopped at the bus stop. Several passengers were later taken to Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.

Kathryn Elaine Phillips, 46, of Springfield, was lodged after officers reported she was driving impaired near Old Highway 99 South and also had an Oregon State Police warrant

Details: Phillips was called in as an impaired driver leaving Roseburg. An officer located her as she was pulling out of Buy 2 and made contact. The officer observed signs of impairment, Phillips consented to field sobriety tests, and she performed poorly. Officers also learned she had a warrant. Her vehicle was impounded by Bills Towing.

Details: Officers responded to Motel 6 after a juvenile female ran to the front desk and reported contact with an adult male in a room. She told officers Walker provided her with alcohol and sexually assaulted her. Officers also found Snapchat messages indicating Walker had offered money in exchange for explicit photos. Walker admitted providing alcohol but denied sexual contact.
Disposition: Lodged at the Douglas County Jail.
Prohibited Burning
Shawn Keith Webb, 51, was cited after officers and fire personnel reported finding him with an open fire near the river at Gaddis Park
