Dustin Hinton, 33, and Tashina Dukes, 38, were cited after police contacted them near a campsite along the South Umpqua River

Details: Hinton and Dukes were contacted near Hinton's campsite along the South Umpqua River at the park. Police said Dukes' dog was off-leash and approached an officer aggressively. Police said Hinton's camp was surrounded by trash. Hinton was cited and released on scene for Depositing Trash Within 100 Yards of a Waterway. Dukes was cited and released on scene for Dog Leash Law Violation.

Ronald Robertson, 86, was cited after police said a vehicle crashed into a wall and a parked vehicle at Rogue Credit Union

Lisa Timmons, 47, was lodged after police said she stole merchandise from Fred Meyer and had active warrants

Details: Officers contacted Timmons at Fred Meyer after loss prevention employees stopped her outside of the store when she stole $174.50 worth of merchandise. Police said Timmons admitted to the theft of the items. Officers also learned she had the listed warrants for her arrest. The warrants were confirmed, and Timmons was taken into custody without incident.

Details: Officers responded to the front steps of the Douglas County Courthouse after multiple individuals reported Amos and Walters were physically fighting with one another. Officers contacted Amos and Walters and learned Amos had attacked Walters with a wooden flagpole after Walters attempted to take some of Amos' belongings from the front steps of the courthouse. Police said Walters reported no injuries, and Amos declined medical treatment from medical personnel who responded to the scene. Both Amos and Walters were cited and released for the listed crime and separated from one another.

Details: Officers responded to the address for a report of a male trespassing in the backyard. The male was reported leaving the area in a grey Toyota 4Runner. Officers located the vehicle driving in the area and stopped it after observing the vehicle did not have a front license plate. Officers contacted Ledford as the driver and noticed several signs of impairment. Police said Ledford agreed to perform field sobriety tests and performed poorly. Ledford was arrested without incident and transported to Corrections, where police said he provided a breath sample over the legal limit.

A 16-year-old juvenile was cited after police said she admitted to theft at Sherm’s Thunderbird

Details: Police said Proctor entered Sherm’s after being previously trespassed. Officers located Proctor, who was with Collins, near the sidewalk to Sherm’s. Officers knew Proctor was on probation and Collins was on parole, and police said both had no-contact stipulations with one another. Officers contacted their parole/probation officers, who authorized a detainer for both Proctor and Collins. Police said Proctor admitted to going into Sherm’s after being notified of trespass. Both were taken into custody without incident.
