Details: Rose and Hampton were contacted at the far north end of Templin Beach Park, where police said their camp was set up. Police said camping is never allowed at that location. The camp had a smoldering campfire in front of it, which was called in by a neighborhood resident after they saw smoke coming from it. Police said Hampton stated he lit the fire the night before to cook food.
Disposition: Hampton was cited and released for Prohibited Camping, Criminal, and Prohibited Burning. Rose was cited and released for Prohibited Camping, Violation.

Details: Officers contacted Reedy regarding two 2025 theft cases from Coastal and Lowe's, and a case involving property he reportedly left at Lithia on June 2 that included methamphetamine. Police said he was identified as the suspect through video surveillance in all the cases. He denied involvement in all three cases and was taken into custody without incident.
Disposition: Reedy was lodged at the Douglas County Jail.

Details: Officers observed a vehicle in the parking lot and believed it was associated with Shorey. Police said officers were aware Shorey had several warrants for his arrest. When officers approached the vehicle, they saw Shorey in the back seat and detained him. After getting him out of the vehicle, officers reported seeing a bindle containing a small amount of what was believed to be fentanyl. Dispatch confirmed the warrants and Shorey was taken into custody.
Disposition: Shorey was lodged at Corrections on the warrants and cited for UP Schedule 2.

Details: Officers contacted Morgan after medical staff found her in possession of a small zip-lock bag containing a white crystallized substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Police said Morgan confirmed the substance was methamphetamine. Officers later completed a preliminary test using a NIK test kit, and the substance tested positive for amphetamines.
Disposition: Morgan was cited and released.
