Details: Hinton was contacted at his camp, which police said was set up 20 feet from the South Umpqua River. Camping is prohibited at the location due to its proximity to the river. Police said that while approaching Hinton's camp, his dog charged at an officer and was Tased. Police said Hinton's camp also had trash scattered around it.

Michael Runyan, 52, was lodged after police said he backed a motorhome into a parked vehicle at Walmart

Details: Officers responded to the listed location after Walmart employees reported Runyan backed his motorhome into a parked vehicle in the parking lot and appeared intoxicated. Officers contacted Runyan and observed signs of impairment. Police said Runyan consented to field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Douglas County Corrections. At Corrections, police said Runyan refused to speak with officers. A search warrant was authored and granted, and Runyan provided a breath sample of .10% BAC. The vehicle was impounded by Bill’s Towing.

Sierra Fox, 29, was cited after police said a crash caused a trailer to disconnect and flip over on Garden Valley Boulevard

Details: Officers responded to the listed location for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. After an investigation, officers learned Fox was waiting at the light to turn right onto NW Garden Valley Boulevard from the I-5 northbound off-ramp. Holden was driving east on NW Garden Valley Boulevard and had a green light as he approached the intersection. Police said Fox stated she did not see Holden approaching and made the right turn into his lane, crashing her vehicle into the trailer he was pulling, causing it to disconnect from his vehicle and flip over. Neither party reported injuries, and Bill's Towing responded to remove the trailer from the roadway. Fox was cited for the listed violation, and information exchange was facilitated. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Details: Officers conducted a traffic stop after observing violations and contacted Ruger as the driver. Officers noticed several signs of impairment and said her breath smelled heavily of an alcoholic beverage. Police said Ruger admitted to consuming alcohol and refused to perform field sobriety tests. Officers read the ROHR's admonishment and Ruger consented. Police said Ruger performed poorly and was taken into custody without incident. Ruger was transported to Douglas County Corrections, where police said she provided a breath sample over the legal limit. A sober driver responded and took possession of the vehicle.
