Johnathan Michael Laine, 45, arrested on alleged parole violation after contact on NW Stewart Parkway

Details: Officers contacted Laine, believing he was wanted by his PO. The PO was contacted and authorized a detainer. Laine was taken into custody.

Michael Lee Hood, 43, arrested on warrant after police contact at Deer Creek Park for camping outside allowed time

Details: Hood was contacted at Deer Creek Park for camping outside the allowed time. He was arrested on his warrant.

Ordinance Violation
Dennis Dewaen Crawford, 56, cited after police reported fire inside tent and machete at camp in Deer Creek Park area

Details: Crawford was contacted at his camp in the park. Crawford had a fire burning inside of his tent, contained in a fireplace made from a beer keg with a functioning smokestack. There was also a large machete on the ground outside of Crawford's tent.
Disposition: Crawford was cited and released for Prohibited Burning and Prohibited Weapons and Tools on City Real Property. The machete was seized as evidence. Crawford's camp was previously posted for cleanup, with a cleanup date of (01/14/2026).
Littering
Kevin Ray Potter, 52, cited; William Edward Wasyluk, 49, lodged after police reported trash issues under Rowe Street Bridge

Details: Potter and Wasyluk were contacted under the Rowe Street Bridge because they had a substantial amount of trash surrounding them. Potter was cited and released for Prohibited Camping (Criminal) and littering near waters. Wasyluk was arrested and lodged for Littering Near Waters.
Disposition: Potter was cited and released because of a medical condition. Wasyluk was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.
Camping
William Dane Langdon, 58, cited for prohibited camping and possession of restricted tool after contact on NW Highland bicycle path

Details: Langdon was contacted because he was camping in a restricted area and outside the allowed time. He was cited and released for Prohibited Camping (Criminal) and possession of a restricted tool in a park.

Traffic
Tyson Karl Zorn, 62, cited for alleged driving while suspended and other violations after stop near NW Aviation Dr and NW Edenbower Blvd

Details: Tyson was pulled over for several traffic violations. Tyson had a suspended driver license at a misdemeanor level. Tyson was unable to get a valid driver to remove his vehicle from the roadway, so the vehicle was towed by Roseburg Towing.
Disposition: Tyson was cited and released on scene.
Warrant
Steven Thomas Campos Jr, 43, arrested on warrant after police contact at WinCo on NW Stewart Parkway

Details: Officers contacted Campos inside of WinCo and knew he had a warrant. Campos was detained without incident and dispatch confirmed the warrant.

Jay Austin Copenhaver, 60, arrested on warrant and cited for alleged offensive littering after contact at Over Park on SE Rose

Details: Officers contacted Copenhaver amongst a pile of garbage at the Over Park. Officers knew he had an un-worked warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody without issue. He was charged for the new crime and issued his first City Exclusion Warning.
Disposition: Lodged at the Douglas County Jail.
