Trespass
Shelena Delores Rose, 33, arrested at 1401 NW Veterans Way; officers said she had been trespassed from the location multiple times and was taken into custody, and they also confirmed she was listed as a missing person and removed her from LEDS/NCIC

Details: Officers contacted Shelena after she was trespassed from the location multiple times in the past. Shelena was taken into custody without incident and transported to Douglas County Corrections. During the contact, officers discovered Shelena was listed as a missing person out of the Roseburg Police Department. This was confirmed and Shelena was removed from LEDS/NCIC as missing.
Disposition: Shelena was cited and released from corrections and removed from LEDS/NCIC as missing.
Littering
Ashley Marie Bartholomew, 42, cited at 200 SE Pine St.; officers said her camp was in violation of time/place/manner restrictions and was surrounded by large amounts of trash and items, and she was cited on multiple violations

Details: Officers contacted Ashley at her camp, which was in violation of the time, place, and manner restrictions. The log states Ashley's camp was approximately 20x20 feet and surrounded by large amounts of trash, bike parts, car parts, and various other items.

Inhalants
Matthew Alexander Bynum, 28, cited under the Oak Street Bridge; officers said he was actively huffing nitrous oxide from a large canister and the canister was seized as evidence

Details: Bynum was contacted under the Oak Street Bridge where he was actively huffing nitrous oxide from a large canister. Bynum claimed he was unaware it was unlawful because he just purchased the canister at the store with a mouthpiece on it.
Disposition: Bynum was cited and released on scene, and the gas canister was seized as evidence.
Sex Abuse
Gregory Wayne Van Egdom, 42, charged in connection with a case in the 1000 block of West Nebo Street; officers said detectives discovered additional child sexual abuse material from 2020 involving an identified victim unrelated to an original investigation

Details: While investigating a previous child sex abuse case, detectives discovered child sexual abuse material from 2020 involving an unidentified victim unrelated to the original case. Upon victim identification, Gregory Van Egdom, who was lodged at corrections on the previous case, was charged with additional crimes.

Felicity Diane Nelsen, 25, and Robert Joshua Wilkerson, 43, cited at Deer Creek Park; officers said their camp was set up outside the allowed time and manner and both were cited and released
