Angela Renea Ballard, 83, injured in a three-vehicle crash near NW Mountainview Dr. and NW Dogwood St.; officers said she swerved to miss an animal and struck two parked vehicles

Details: Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash near NW Mountainview Dr/NW Dogwood St. The log states Ballard swerved to miss an animal, resulting in her vehicle striking two vehicles that were parked at the location. Ballard was transported to Mercy Medical Center for a hand injury. Her vehicle was left parked and later towed by a friend.

Details: Officers responded to a stolen-vehicle report from a business on W Harvard Ave. The log states the Dodge Dart had been stolen within about 20 minutes, and officers later responded to a two-vehicle crash at NW Garden Valley/NW Troost involving the stolen vehicle. Officers reported St. Clair fled the scene but was followed by a witness, then detained. The log states St. Clair drove into oncoming lanes and struck the Nissan Frontier; both vehicles were inoperable and towed. Officers reported signs of impairment, poor SFST performance, and obtained a search warrant for a blood draw at Mercy Medical Center.

Robert Paul Watson, 48, cited at Eagles Park on SE Jackson St.; officers said he had an alcoholic beverage with little left and appeared visibly intoxicated
