Details: Officers responded to a report of a crash between a vehicle and scooter near the intersection of NW Garden Valley Blvd and NW Stewart Parkway. After an investigation, officers determined that Caldwell had attempted to cross NW Garden Valley Blvd from the parking lot of Marshalls into the parking lot of BiMart and did not see Sheridan who was traveling southbound in the bicycle lane of NW Garden Valley Blvd. Sheridan attempted to stop but couldn't and collided with the front passenger side of Caldwell's vehicle. Sheridan was transported to Mercy Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Caldwell was cited for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, and her vehicle was driven from the scene.

Details: Officers responded to a disturbance at the Idle Hour regarding Thomas trying to start fights with patrons and for violating a restraining order. Upon seeing officers arrive, Thomas left at a high rate of speed and nearly ran over the responding officer and a bystander. Officers initiated a pursuit on Diamond Lake Blvd and it continued onto NE Rifle Range St before Thomas turned onto a dead end on Spencer Ct. Thomas then exited his vehicle and fled on foot before being detained. Thomas showed indicators of impairment but refused to perform field sobriety tests. A search warrant was obtained and Thomas provided a breath sample over the legal limit. Thomas was found to have violated and active restraining order by threatening the protected party.
