Details: Officers responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of NE Stephens / NE Diamond Lake. Whitehall told officers he was distracted by an emergency vehicle on the side of the road and rear ended Pardon's vehicle. Whitehall's wife was in the passenger seat and was transported to Mercy Medical Center via ambulance. Whitehall's vehicle was inoperable due to severe front end damage and was towed from the scene by Roseburg Towing as a preference tow company. Whitehall was issued a citation for following too closely.

V1 sustained damage to the driver side fender/wheel area and V2 sustained front-end damage to the grille, bumper, fender, and hood. V1 was towed from the scene by Roseburg Towing.
