Mark Anthony Pomatto, 68, was cited after police said he stole a motorized shopping cart from Fred Meyer and drove it toward the I-5 southbound on-ramp

Details: On 4/7/2026, Pomatto stole a motorized shopping cart from Fred Meyer and drove it to the I-5 southbound on-ramp on Garden Valley. Pomatto was found by DCSO in Canyonville the next day. Pomatto admitted to the theft and stated he did not want to walk, so he took the cart.
Disposition: Cited and released from Mercy due to medical concerns.

Michael Lee Hatton, 40, was lodged after officers contacted him at the police department and learned his probation officer wanted him detained

Details: Officers contacted Hatton in the lobby of the Roseburg Police Department knowing he was wanted by his Probation Officer. The PO was contacted and a detainer was authorized. Hatton was taken into custody without incident and transported to Douglas County Corrections.

James Darrell Strader, 55, was lodged after officers said he repeatedly caused disturbances on SE Flint Street and made threats toward others nearby

Details: Strader was warned twice for acting disorderly before officers responded a third time to the end of SE Flint Street. Strader had broken glass all over the ground next to his pickup. He yelled at passersby, made vague threats to nearby residents and threatened to expose his genitals.

Catherine Manilla Rhodes, 56, was cited after officers found her with a Fred Meyer shopping cart at Stewart Park

Details: Rhodes was contacted in the pavilion with a Fred Meyer shopping cart. The cart contained all of Rhodes' possessions and she claimed to have taken it from the Duck Pond the day before.

Details: Allen-Maness attacked Impecoven while he was driving. Impecoven had to bite her hand while he was driving to prevent her from scratching his face. Impecoven had multiple scratches and marks on his face and neck. Allen-Maness admitted to hitting Impecoven, but claimed he hit her first. There were no marks on Allen-Maness.

Lawrence Orrin Enz, 54, of Dillard was lodged after a traffic stop on Garden Valley Boulevard led to a parole detainer

Details: Officer stopped Marki for traffic violations. During the stop, the officer saw signs of impairment and Marki admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages. Her vehicle was impounded by Bill’s Towing.
