Details: Officers responded to a reported disturbance between Ellis and Knox. Police said officers determined Knox allegedly slapped Ellis on the back of his head. Knox was taken into custody without incident and transported to Douglas County Corrections. At corrections, jail deputies reportedly located a baggy containing 2.36 grams of suspected methamphetamine on Knox's person.

Sky Lynn Schweitzer, 46, was cited after police said officers stopped a vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine inside

Details: Police said Meister refused to leave his hotel room after smoking cigarettes and making a mess. Police said Meister threatened employees and put his cigarettes out on the furniture. He was transported to Mercy to be evaluated due to intoxication. While at Mercy, police said Meister called 911 in front of officers.
Disposition: He was cited and released at Mercy because his blood alcohol concentration was .35%.

Details: Officers responded to a crash where a motorcycle rider reportedly hit another vehicle. Police said Helms was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Helms told officers Davis pulled out in front of him and also said he did not have a license or insurance. Davis told officers he was driving in front of Helms in the same lane and direction, then had to suddenly brake and swerve to avoid hitting an animal. Police said Helms collided with the rear driver side of Davis' vehicle, and a witness corroborated Davis' account. Helms' motorcycle was impounded by Roseburg Towing, and Davis drove from the scene without assistance.
Disposition: Helms was issued three citations.

Details: Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash near the listed location. Police said Miramontes was traveling westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and slowed to turn right on Northeast Casper Street. Miller then rear-ended Miramontes, pushing that vehicle into Frizzle's vehicle, which was stopped at the intersection on Northeast Casper Street waiting to turn left. Police said Frizzle was suspended and had no insurance. All vehicles were towed by Roseburg Towing. Miller was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center for complaints of head pain.
Disposition: Miller was cited for following too closely. Frizzle was cited for driving uninsured, failure previous violator to file, and driving while suspended/revoked.

Police said Attebury is prohibited from having contact with the woman under a no contact order.

Details: Officers contacted James Strader, who police said had a large pile of debris and garbage near Deer Creek. James was taken into custody without issue. Police said that while en route to jail, he urinated in the backseat of a patrol car. James' parole officer was contacted and a detainer was issued. Yula Strader was also camping at the location. Police said both were issued their first city exclusion warnings.
Disposition: James was lodged at Douglas County Corrections, and Yula was cited and released on scene.
