Details: Officers responded to a non-injury crash and learned Uster proceeded into the intersection while Smolek was driving through it. Uster drove her vehicle into the side of Smolek's, causing her to spin out. Smolek told officers she did not have insurance. Smolek was cited for Driving Uninsured while Uster was cited for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. Smolek's vehicle was severely damaged, and Bill's Towing responded as a non-preference tow company. Uster's vehicle was operable and did not require a tow.
Disposition: Both drivers were cited and neither one required medical attention.
