Police Investigating Robbery at Sutherlin Bar; Suspects Impersonated Officers
Sutherlin police are investigating a Feb. 15 robbery at the Offyce Bar after two masked men posing as officers reportedly took cash and fled south on I-5 in a vehicle. No weapons were shown and no one was hurt. Police ask anyone with information to contact SPD.
SUTHERLIN, Ore. — Police are investigating an early morning robbery reported Feb. 15 at the Offyce Bar in Sutherlin.
According to the Sutherlin Police Department, two men entered the business after allegedly claiming to be law enforcement officers. Authorities said the suspects obtained cash from the establishment and left the area shortly afterward.
The men are described as husky-built males, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall, both wearing face masks. Police said the suspects were last seen heading south on Interstate 5 after getting into a vehicle.
No weapons were displayed during the incident, and the employee working at the time was not injured, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle involved to contact the Sutherlin Police Department. Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
