Night Paving On SE Stephens Street To Affect Traffic Entering Downtown Roseburg
Overnight paving on SE Stephens Street will affect traffic entering downtown Roseburg from Sunday, Sept. 20, through Wednesday morning. Drivers should expect delays and detours between the southern city limits and Brockway Avenue.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Drivers entering downtown Roseburg on SE Stephens Street should prepare for nighttime delays and detours beginning Sunday, Sept. 20.
A City of Roseburg contractor will pave SE Stephens Street from the southern city limits near the Parrott House to Brockway Avenue. Work is scheduled for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, generally from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The project is expected to continue through Wednesday morning, Sept. 23.
Traffic entering downtown through the work area will be affected. Motorists should allow additional travel time and be prepared to follow posted detours and directions from traffic-control crews. Traffic leaving downtown is not expected to be affected.
Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution around workers and equipment.
The city thanked residents and motorists for their patience while the street improvements are completed.
