New Daily Bus Route Will Connect Roseburg To Eugene, Medford Starting In April

A new intercity bus route is set to give Roseburg-area travelers another option for getting up and down the Interstate 5 corridor.

Pacific Crest Bus Lines says it plans to launch daily service in April between Eugene and Medford, with buses running seven days a week. For Roseburg, the new route will create a direct connection to destinations in both the southern Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon.

Along with Roseburg, scheduled stops will include Eugene, Cottage Grove, Sutherlin, Seven Feathers Casino Resort, Grants Pass and Medford.

The added service is expected to benefit a wide range of riders, including commuters, people visiting family, and travelers looking for an alternative to driving.

Reservations for the route are expected to open soon, according to the company.

Pacific Crest Bus Lines, based in Central Oregon, operates fixed-route and charter services across Oregon and Washington. The company also serves as a contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation’s POINT intercity bus system, which connects rural communities with larger transportation hubs across the state.

Company information says Pacific Crest’s broader network links more than 20 cities and includes existing service to places such as Bend, Coos Bay and Portland. In addition to daily route service, the company also provides private charter transportation along with government and military transport.

Officials say the new Eugene-to-Medford route is designed to improve regional mobility in an area where long-distance public transportation options can be limited, while also offering a dependable and comfortable way to travel through Southern Oregon.
