Ingram Content Group Announces "Covered" Platform To Streamline Catalog Sharing And Review Copies

A new website aimed at simplifying how publishers share upcoming books with industry professionals is set to arrive later this year.

Ingram Content Group announced Feb. 23 that it plans to launch Covered in fall 2026, describing it as a modern, cost effective site where publishers can post catalogs and provide digital review copies, also known as DRCs, to booksellers, librarians, and influencers.

According to the announcement, the site will provide free access to detailed information about forthcoming titles. That includes marketing plans, event details, comparable titles, sales and inventory information, and downloadable marketing assets.

For bookstore and library buyers, Covered is also expected to include a galley program that offers advance copies in print, ebook, or audiobook formats.

Margaret Harrison, vice president of digital services at Ingram Content Group, said the goal is to create a single, accessible space where publishers across categories can present new releases to booksellers and librarians.

Ingram said the platform will broaden its rollout in 2027 and will introduce competitive pricing for publishers at that time. The company also said the Covered team plans to attend Winter Institute to connect with booksellers and publishers and offer an early look at the site.
