Fire Crews Respond To Bag House Fire At Douglas County Forest Products
Firefighters responded late Thursday night to a commercial fire at Douglas County Forest Products. Officials said the fire was contained to the facility’s bag house and did not spread to nearby structures.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Firefighters responded late Thursday night to a commercial fire at Douglas County Forest Products.
Central Douglas Fire & Rescue said crews were dispatched at 11:47 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, after a fire was reported in the bag house at the facility. Firefighters from Central Douglas Fire & Rescue and the Sutherlin Fire Department responded to the scene.
The fire was contained to the bag house and did not spread to nearby structures, according to the agency.
CDF&R and Sutherlin Fire responded with four engines, one ladder truck, two command units and 17 personnel.
No additional details were immediately released.
