Christopher Blodgett is charged with second-degree murder, kidnapping, coercion, assault, harassment, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Authorities say the charges stem from a Sunday afternoon incident in the Staples parking lot, where officers found 39-year-old David Orr suffering from gunshot wounds. Orr was pronounced dead at the scene.
Court documents also allege that Blodgett unlawfully kidnapped a woman and threatened her with physical harm if she did not comply. During his arraignment at the Coos County Courthouse, Blodgett was reportedly disruptive and uncooperative.
