Snow Expected in Southern Oregon Mountains as Cold Front Arrives Sunday Night
A cold front moving into southern Oregon Sunday night is expected to bring mountain snow into Monday morning. Most areas in the Cascades could see 4 to 6 inches, with a small chance of up to a foot. Snow levels may drop to around 4,500 feet overnight, potentially impacting higher elevation travel.
Douglas County Fair Receives Six Western Fairs Association Awards
The Douglas County Fair received six 2025 Achievement Awards from the Western Fairs Association, including two first-place honors. Awards recognized advertising, photography and promotional efforts. The 2026 fair is scheduled for Aug. 5–8 in Roseburg.

Roseburg police reported multiple arrests and citations on Feb. 4–5, including theft, parole violations, warrant arrests, and public order offenses. Incidents occurred across the city at parks, businesses, and public areas, according to the department’s daily activity logs.
