A 21-year-old Roseburg man is facing attempted murder charges after detectives say he broke into a Myrtle Creek home and assaulted 73-year-old Stephen Balliew. The victim’s injuries did not match a reported fall, prompting a full investigation.

High-Speed Chase Through Gaddis Park Ends in Arrest of Roseburg Man
A late-night chase through Gaddis Park ended with the arrest of 49-year-old Joshua Frazier after police say he fled on a dirt bike and later crashed near the I-5 walking bridge. Officers found meth in his possession and confirmed he had an outstanding warrant.

New Traffic Signal at Highway 42 and Rolling Hills Road Expected to Go Live This Week
