Winston-Dillard School District To Offer Free Spring Break Meals
Winston-Dillard School District will provide free Spring Break meals for children 18 and younger next week, with grab-and-go stops at schools and parks in Winston and Dillard. Meals are sponsored by Cow Creek and the district.
WINSTON, Ore. — The Winston-Dillard School District will provide free Spring Break meals for children 18 and younger next week, according to district information reported by KQEN.
Children may choose either a hot or cold meal. Each meal will include fruit, a vegetable and milk. Each child may receive one breakfast and one lunch per day. Meals will be distributed by the district’s yellow LunchBox Express van.
Grab-and-go meal stops:
- McGovern Elementary School: 8:15 a.m. to 8:25 a.m.
- Douglas High School: 8:30 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.
- Brockway Elementary School: 8:45 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.
- Lookingglass Elementary School: 9:10 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.
- Dillard Alternative High School: 9:35 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
- Winston Middle School: 9:55 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
- Civic Wayside Park: 11:35 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.
- Community Park: 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Spring Break meals are sponsored by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians and the Winston-Dillard School District.
