Roseburg Warming Center to Open Tuesday Night as Temperatures Drop

ROSEBURG — With overnight temperatures expected to fall into activation levels, the United Community Action Network (UCAN) plans to open the Roseburg Warming Center on Tuesday night.

The temporary shelter will operate in the gymnasium at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, located at 630 W. Stanton Ave. Organizers say the center is intended to provide a safe, warm place for community members during cold conditions.

Check-in and a meal will be offered from 8:15 p.m. to 9 p.m., and guests must arrive during that window to stay for the night. Shelter space and access to resources will be available. The center will close Wednesday morning, with check-out and a coffee hour scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
