Jeffrey James Cooper, 38, arrested at 200 SE Jackson Street after officers reported he had two warrants; officers said Cooper admitted to having a user amount of fentanyl in his pocket and was lodged at corrections and cited for UP Schedule 2

Details: Officers contacted Cooper and he was found to have two warrants for his arrest. Cooper admitted to having a user amount of fentanyl in his pocket. The warrants were confirmed and he was taken into custody. Officers located a user amount of fentanyl in his pocket.
Disposition: Cooper was lodged at Corrections on the warrant and cited for UP Schedule 2.
Elude
Micha Perry Gannon, 30, arrested after officers reported locating a stolen vehicle associated with a robbery and attempting a traffic stop; officers said the vehicle failed to yield, spike strips were deployed near NE Stephens and NE Garden Valley, and Gannon was lodged at corrections and the vehicle was towed

Details: Officers were attempting to locate a stolen vehicle associated with a robbery. Officers located the vehicle near NE Stephens and NE Diamond Lake Blvd and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield and continued north of NE Stephens. Deputies in the area successfully deployed spike strips on the vehicle near NE Stephens and NE Garden Valley. The vehicle was largely blocked by traffic and stopped in the roadway. Gannon was detained without incident and taken into custody.
Disposition: Gannon was lodged at Corrections, and the vehicle was towed by Roseburg Towing.

Britanne Carol Jansen, 42, arrested near 900 NE Rowe after officers responded to a disturbance and reported Jansen was on probation and not supposed to have contact with Ricky Lee Berry, 51; officers said her probation officer authorized a detainer and she was lodged at corrections

Details: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the area. Officer contacted Jansen and Berry. Jansen returned on probation and is not supposed to have contact with Berry. Her PO was contacted and authorized a detainer for the contact.

Trespass
Natoni Leeann Cunningham, 36, and Michael Douglas Townley, 44, arrested in the 2400 block of NE Diamond Lake Blvd after officers reported they were inside a vacant building owned by Susan Tuohy Bettis, 79; officers said both were transported to corrections and lodged

Details: Officers contacted Cunningham and Townly inside the vacant building after getting reports that they had been entering the building owned by Bettis. Both Cunningham and Townly were detained without incident and were transported to Douglas County Corrections, where they were both lodged.
Disposition: Booked and lodged at Corrections.
Menacing
Perry James Thomas Murphy, 32, arrested in the 1400 block of SE Douglas Ave after officers reported an investigation where Murphy made threats to kill Macen Dale Bowers, 27, attacked him with a metal pole, and pointed a firearm; officers said a search warrant was executed and multiple firearms were found and Murphy was lodged at corrections

Details: Following an investigation where Perry had gone to Macen's residence, made threats to kill Macen, and attacked him with a metal pole, then pointed a firearm at Macen, officers executed a search warrant at his residence and took Perry into custody without incident. Officers discovered multiple firearms in Perry's residence, which Perry unlawfully had possession of, due to him being a convicted felon.
Disposition: Lodged at Corrections.
DUII
Preven Elkjaer Sanchez-Rodriguez, 39, arrested at 2700 NW Stewart Pkwy (Mercy Medical Center) after medical personnel reported a vehicle driving in the wrong lane with hazard lights on; officers said Sanchez-Rodriguez showed signs of impairment, performed poorly on field sobriety tests, was unable to provide a breath sample, and a blood sample was obtained after a search warrant before he was lodged at corrections

Details: Officers responded to the location after medical personnel reported seeing the listed vehicle driving in the wrong lane with the hazard lights on, and the driver behaving abnormally. Officers arrived on scene where the vehicle was parked and Preven was standing outside of the vehicle. Officers observed signs of impairment with Preven, who admitted to driving the vehicle, as well as consuming alcohol earlier in the night. Preven consented to SFSTs, which he performed poorly. He was taken into custody and transported to Douglas County Corrections without incident. His vehicle was left with his girlfriend and legally parked at Mercy. While at Corrections, Preven attempted multiple times to provide a breath sample but was unable to. A search warrant was authored and granted, and a blood sample was obtained from Preven at Mercy. He was then transported back to Corrections, where he was lodged.
Disposition: Preven was lodged at Corrections.
