Diamond Lake Tubing Hill Closes for the Weekend After Rain

Diamond Lake’s tubing hill will be closed this weekend after rain since Sunday created ponds at the bottom of the hill. Operators say it will take a significant snow event to reopen, and updates will be posted on their page.

The Diamond Lake tubing hill has announced it will be closed this weekend (Saturday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 1, 2026) due to deteriorating conditions caused by recent rain.

“Rain since Sunday has made ponds at the bottom of the hill. We will not be able to operate this weekend,” operators said. “Unfortunately we will need a significant snow event to reopen. Watch our page for updates.”

Updates will be posted on the Diamond Lake Resort's Facebook Page as conditions change.
