Attempt To Elude Arrest Made After Stolen Vehicle Stop Attempt In Roseburg
Roseburg police arrested a 30-year-old man after a stolen vehicle linked to a robbery failed to yield during a stop attempt. Spike strips were deployed near NE Stephens and NE Garden Valley, and the vehicle stopped in the roadway. He was lodged at Corrections.
A 30-year-old Roseburg man was arrested after officers reported locating a stolen vehicle associated with a robbery and attempting a traffic stop on Monday, March 2, 2026.
According to the report, officers located the vehicle near NE Stephens Street and NE Diamond Lake Boulevard and attempted to stop it. The vehicle failed to yield and continued north on NE Stephens Street. Deputies in the area deployed spike strips near NE Stephens Street and NE Garden Valley Boulevard, and the vehicle stopped in the roadway after it was largely blocked by traffic.
Officers reported Micha Perry Gannon, 30, was detained without incident and taken into custody. He was lodged at Corrections on an Attempt to Elude charge. The vehicle, a 2005 Mazda B2300, was towed by Roseburg Towing.
