A 19-year-old was arrested Thursday night after a motorcycle pursuit in Winston, according to the Winston Police Department.
Police said the incident began around 8:15 p.m. on March 19, when an officer attempted to stop a speeding motorcycle. The rider allegedly failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit through the Winston area.
The pursuit ended at a residence on Happy Valley Road, where the suspect was taken into custody after an investigation.
Police identified the rider as Riley Hoffman, 19. He was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on the following charges:
- Attempt to Elude a Police Officer
- Reckless Driving
- Reckless Endangering
